In simple words: I would say to see (really see and understand) processes and to adapt, modify and design them for a better and effective supply chain in order to save cost, or production time, or delivery time or effectiveness.

Answer: As a Supply Chain Manager I do have excellent math skills, analytic skills, and the ability to understand customer needs .  I also do have management skills and know-how to use technology to accelerate supply. Flexibility and Agility – The customer needs, keep on changing fast and accordingly the person managing the supply chain needs to be extremely agile and flexible to respond to the needs and quickly implement the decisions and initiatives to suit the ever-changing customer requirements.

Answer: The major challenge was planning and risk management tasks such as launching a new product, analyzing and forecasting consumer demand, analyzing and making decisions on fuel buy price.
